What the hell is the FL smoking thinking she and ML have been “getting close”. When? When you bullied him into spending time with the kids and the two of you barely interacted with each other? When he awkwardly asked you about your bracelet and you refused to answer? When he ran out from your picnic where you were thinking to yourself that he was obviously still in love with the kids’ mom and was seeing her in her daughter??? Did I miss a chapter?
I feel so sad for the original Merhen.
Even if “Merhen” reconciled with ML now, it’s just like starting a relationship with a new woman (a new soul in the wife’s body)…
Yeah.. the story seems kinda rushed with ainz’s redemption and the kids finding out about their parents’ deaths. How could merhen have been getting closer to ainz when they’ve acting like strangers merely being amicable around the kids? Especially when ainz hasn’t even been around her and the kids enough for her to be like “maybe he truly cares for them”. Ainz so far has never apologized to merhen for how he treated her, instead telling her that he left her absent in the decision making and unknowing about the assassinations. And the kids took the news rather quickly and easily despite their age and the discovered circumstances.
