Ersia is honestly quite pitiful. All the childhood memories of the MC, Laurencia, is actually not about her and she is not what she thought she is. MC is actually the jealous one and just average intellect, Ersia is the real genius to the point that when she was 7 years old she made a ground breaking solution to a contract that their family is having a headache on. Being a genius, Ersia naturally has the spotlight and MC was very jealous, she also pushed Ersia down the stairs for performing better. One day the MC got hurt and noticed that you don’t need to be a genius to get attention so she resorted to self harm by slitting her wrist, MC thinks more pain more love, I think she’s kinda twisted. Parents realize it was self inflicted and Ersia feels guilty that her existence makes her twin suffers so she goes into the darkness for the sake of her sister, she made mistakes to the things she’s usually good at and also this is where she started pretending to be sick so her sister your MC could shine more. Soon their parents died and this is where MC erased her memories on her self harm and mistakecourse since she’s main character she’s one of the select few that could open the door to the past because she’s a chosen body. They’re both victims and both villains. When I read this part, I was dumbfounded and I can’t help but sympathized more with Ersia than the MC with the twisted attitude and twisted mind for thinking she’s the better twin who’s doing the sacrifice so I dropped this after the revelation part as I find the MC undeserving and I feel like I wasted my time hating Ersia because of the idiot and misleading MC

her self as the genius who is good at business and Ersia as the jealous sister who pretends to be hurt. Ersia continued to be in the darkness and she soon realized that MC forgot about the sacrifice she made, actually all the MC has now is due to Ersia’s sacrifice and Ersia is suppose to be the heir, I think this is the turning point for Ersia to hate her sister and as years accumulated being alone and forgotten in darkness she become rotted that resulted to the first timeline. Sadly, the grandfather knows all this facts but he was too shaken up by the death of his child and wasn’t able to focus on the widening gap between the twins. He even had the doctor to fake reports on Ersia’s illness to justify why she was trapping herself on her room. So I could understand Ersia’s hate during the first timeline especially with their grandfather dead, Ersia’s revenge is unstoppable. If MC could remember her past I doubt she could open that door and return to the past by thinking she’s the better twin and the victim but ofErsia is honestly quite pitiful.
