Even that “now real world” has books people read, games people play, theatre that gets re-written and stories that people imagine.
It´s because we can re-do things that it´s a safe space for the mind and heart, where we can re-charge for reality.
And if any book or game truly gives birth to a real world we could end up in? Then that´s still a fully different thing, same as an actor playing a horrifying villain doesn´t change that the person playing the role is something else entirely (which sadly many forget when it comes to actors, singers, idols, etc. -.-). The main problem is the memories those people have of loops and commentary Ô.o THAT´S what gives me the eevy jeevies, having to live with “commentary” and “options” (or memories of it, at least).

If you can’t foresee the bad thing happening and it’s not reasonable to assume something bad will happen, you aren’t responsible for it.
The boy’s death is the father’s fault, not hers. If she chose not to stop him, the boy would die from hanging as a thief and would still not be her fault. People have their own responsibilities, not just the player.
You are responsible for your own harm, and har
