ya know, i was a bit hesitant to read this one cuz im tired of the lowkey fat-phobic manwha where “she loses weight and only becomes lovable then!” and yeah, this one is following some of those tropes
but i really love that the prince is already plenty smitten by her without ever seeing her ‘thin’ version. for him, she was pretty and captured his feelings without being skinny or even well dressed. he saw her in a raggedy old dress and messy hair and just didn’t care at all
i don’t think he’s just doing this to ‘repay’ her, he’s already had plenty of blushy moments thinking about her and he’s clearly attracted to her so im just happy that for freaking once a manwha im reading treated her as valuable /regardless/ of her weight
