I’ve known people who are around 300 pounds and able to sustain advanced forms.

It’s unnecessary to make the princess ugly by being fat tho ? the author could’ve just make her unfashionable and have unsuitable make up if they want to go for ugly-to-beautiful transition OR if they want a drama, they could’ve just make her character as an unwanted illegitimate child…why use “fat” as an ugly concept? ??

Uhmmm… The author isn’t maybe the best in the historical point of veiw, during the time of nobility and royals being fat was actually a beauty standard( bc it showed you have money for food and ur not poor). If we took this scenario and made it accurate everybody would be overweight too and call her beautiful.
*sigh* I don’t hate the idea of plus sized protagonist, but the way they use and drop it typically is just stupid. I think I can only think of one that really did it properly, and this one just seems to be throwing things st the wall so I doubt it will.

FRR also in this time period being overweight was a BEAUTY STANDARD!!! I get it that the authors korean but why imply such extreme korean beauty standards in environment thats inspired by europe 1600-1900, mixing inspiration timeline can make a good story if its executed smoothly.
