Not really she is sorta replaceable. Unlike him who is important enough to have a company housing and company car, she literally takes public transport and lives with her family in a house together. So yea not pissing off the boss and getting worse work and more hours might not be worth losing over a “fake” boyfriend since he won’t admit to liking her more.
Telling from experience getting in with the boss and getting worst shifts as well as overtime and losing my entire social life because I didn’t wanna look like a brown noser in retrospec wasn’t worth it.
