   this one is rather peculiar…
   positives: the art is gorgeous, the translation is readable (there are plenty of awkward wording and mistranslations, specially of titles and Estella’s, the FL, name) and the characters are very engaging, it’s easy to like each and every one, since even the villains have redeeming qualities and also the author does not make everything black and white, each situation has its nuanced circumstances. I also really like that there’s a lot of communication between the main couple, which makes the story less juvenile and more compelling. Overall, the characters also act within reason, and are generally understandable in every action they take.

   negatives: I personally think the storyline is all over the place, and that there are a lot “holes” in the major plot, and that’s mainly because the world building and established set-up are not entirely sound. it’s not only that the holes are there, but also that many of the premises are weak at best, and the story itself will weaken past established facts. in other words, if you want to have fun with this one you literally have to not think about it, at all. the strenght of this work is definitely not the story, but the likeable characters themselves.
