I gotta say, not a fan of the tutor, using a rod for teaching, or cheaters AT ALL…but what did his character have to do with his work? His messy life is his business along as it doesn’t interfere with his teaching. I expected proof of unfair punishments or maybe even gossip he had done himself about the young Duke and his “muddy” lineage, heck, even outright caught in the act verbal abuse! A vague gossip article in a magazine was it. Okay.
