1. Defraeter

   Good but not great (until chap 50). Art is good. Translation ok.
   The script has a few good ideas, but soon falls back on a generic story about a over-powered mage. The author tries to distil some dark and offbeat humour, but many of the jokes fall flat because the dialogue doesn’t follow.
   The girl “Ripley”, the secondary MC, is a non-expressive female with out of place reactions to the other characters. The actual MC just provides exposition and reacts to things the secondary MC does. The secondary characters are of varying interest and some have better MC potential, such as Rebecca…
   The 2 major flaws:
   – yet another boring MC OP story… these webnovel authors don’t even know how to make a story anymore without their hero/heroine being ‘super awesome’, ‘incredible’, ‘unique’, ‘pure genius’, …
   – a lack of emotion, in particular the lack of emotional bond between the 2 MCs (the girl and the book).
   There’s a lot of similarity with ‘Reincarnated as a Sword’, but the author seems to have copied more than been inspired.

   I like the humour, especially the absurdist humour in the 1st chapter, but I’m sorry that the story doesn’t manage to go beyond the ‘enjoyable’ level. But then again… for a manhwa, that’s pretty good.

   It’s veryyyyyy goooooood. The title isn’t really what happened, but the story is very good and interesting til now (chapter 44). Defenetly a recommend!

   The first to chapters were crap. But!!!⚠
   As I have my own motto which is to “”Give manhwa’s and manhua’s alike a secon̈d chance at reading””. Need to say. It was Fun^^

   #Art style: (reasonable) 8/10
   -It’s fun at times when you just wanna read when you’re bored(I’m telling you to go read it now)
   .
   #Story(plot):
   -thriller: 10/10
   -adventure: 6/10
   -Deaths door e.g. killings, murder 10/10
   -obviously he(mc) goes to school~
   -he’s also curious and very observant about how other mages like him, even the worst of the worst uses magic and tries to make It his own(which was what kept me locked in this manhua before I had almost dropped out this amazing Gem that I was going to miss out and and later on forget the title and regretting at the same time).

   So, if you’re board and just wondering which manhua to read and then you see me, and then you know… hah! Who am I. Just kidding
