@FabledSable,i don’t understand why you don’t understand. It’s quite self-explanatory. The first chapter said the MC was the first emperor who reads a strange novel that apparently foretell the destruction of his great kingdom and loses his appetite because of it. Even though he feigns doubt, he’s clearly distressed and he sleeps and finds that he has woken up in the body of his apparent descendant a hundred years laterand he sees that everything is going the way the novel wrote
Hmm… A bit too fast paced so I’m not feeling attached to any of the characters. And who was he initially?? The person in first chapter, was it his future self? An ancestor? Or is this an entire different time line/dimension??? I’m a bit lost here. Still, it’s too early in the story and they might explain it later on so I’ll try reading it a while longer.
