Art is good, author makes the characters do dumb things so they can speed the plot up though which means the FL seems really dumb and selfish and the ML just regular dumb. Hard to feel attached to the story when the characters are unsympathetic.

I completely agree with the part that FL is kinda disappointing. She is naive as hell and an airhead. She knows ML has an obsessed personality yet she keeps coming to him with ‘temporary happiness’.
He still gets abused and she solved absolutely nothing. All she did was fangirling over him. I wish the author would write her character better.
Also, I guess the author will not bother to “help” ML overcome the pain from all the abuse he is getting and it will be like:
“ML carries his trauma into his adulthood and only FL can make him overcome the pain” wow so romantic (no its not, I was sarcastic, it’s not romantic at all)

If you want a likeable Female Lead look elsewhere! She is a sl@ve owner and her biggest worry is that the Duke doesn’t like her for herself when she should be worried that the Duke has been abusing his own son who’s still a child 🙁 “Everyone is so lucky to have ME here! They will be happy because I give them crumbs of my precious time and attention! ” If Truck Kun takes me I can go into this and beat her so badly she FEELS the ML’d abuse herself from me ??
