Yes he is the duke’s son. He had his looks from his grandfather, which is the signature look of the family. One of the reasons why the mls fatger abused him was he felt haunted. As if his father the *grabdfather of the ml) is haunting him even after passing away. The mls grandfather wad the reason why Liam (rachelle’s father) and current duje (ml’s father) split up eveb though they genuinely love each other

Although he’s quite obsessed with the hair color because it reminds him of liam, the reason why he took care of rachelle was because he is liam’s daughter. And that liam’s family is his family also. Nog because he is dellufing his self of having a daughter with liam.

Reading his lines in the novel gives of the “dead inside” vibe. He always look at rachelle like he was reminsing his days with liam and that he’s stares are sad.
