Plus, what type of good willed uncle plans to kidnap their niece while they can just talk it over with their foster parent and avoid possibly traumatizing the child? Furthermore, if Rachel’s uncle really was all that good, she’d talk about how much she misses him or try to get the Duke to allow her to visit him, but not once did she do that. For that reason, we can conclude, that the uncle is garbage and not worth sympathizing with.
