(Actually, sometimes it’s valid to point out when a character doesn’t acknowledge something is wrong when the person being abused is showing signs through actions like flinching at a touch or something. Most of these cases are usually when the FL is the one abused. I’m not saying that women are the only ones capable of showing signs of abuse. I’m just trying to imply WHY a lot people sympathize women and not the other way around is because a lot of authors PROBABLY portay them as expressive and vulnerable.)

Yeah you guys are right she should not get the hate that she is not entitled too.
But reverse the gender, I mean switch the position even the people defending her will start hating ml with same circumstances if the roles were reversed.
I read many novel if ml is unaware of the abuse fl getting abused. People will call him useless and so many things. The percentages of getting hate to ml will always be high comparable to fl.
