Ofcourse not every choice she makes is PERFECT with NO consequences. That is what’s making the story interesting because she’s portayed as an actual human being who is imperfect and not some overly unrealistic smart girl who can just change everything immediately? Do you get me? If you have problems with this story. It’s better that you just pack up and find another story.

About Duchess you are wrong. Duchess is same as usual. She didn’t helped duchess at all. She just a little chat and that’s basically a greeting. She is still isolating herself. She accepted fl req her was not that she is overcoming the depression. She accepted to me her because she is coming to her to meet everyday and so she accepted her req to meet her and she given him warning.

I don’t understand. If I was her, I would make sure to find out when the duke calls lucien to the library and then whenever he does that I’d interrupt, or otherwise pretend to catch him doing the abuse and then act afraid of him until he stops. 🙁
She can say “Please be nice to your son.” every single day but the Duke will just fake it. Do you get it? No matter how much she say those words because she’s still a powerless naive child, she can’t control everything nor protect everyone. She’s just the only one here who cares about every single characters. Imagine how a 10 year old divides all her time for visiting the mother, petting the sooins, bonding with the duke and caring for his brother. It’s hard for all to please everyone. The Sooin aren’t being abused, the ML is putting up a good fight against his literal “demons”, and the duchess stopped isolating herself completely. What the heck else do you want her to do? Plus it’s obvious she’s still trying to get the Duke to like her more so she can request him to stop abusing his son and actually have him listen. She knows she can’t do much yet so she’s bidding her time and putt down good foundations.

Exactly right now there’s no guarantee that the Father will listen to MC, sure the Father dotes on her but doesn’t mean she can asked for like anything and everything especially for the ML which the Father DESPISES so much to the point even when MC tells the Father to not scold ML he still abuse him later on. I don’t get people complaining how MC doesn’t have conscience when she herself doesn’t have that much of an ability to truly stop the Father. Read the dialog at the carriage MC said that “I don’t think I can say that yet” . Analyze it properly yes I feel sorry for the ML but based on MCs position and abilities she’s not to blame ain’t like she’s the head or the empress for her to have so much power better yet she’s not even an adult. She’s even helping oscar which the villain in the OGStory like she’s not just procrastinating dudes
