Like you are saying a two child not related by blood and a close childhood friend what’s the difference between them if you see a non blood related sibiling romance as incest then childhood romance should also be incest.
I’m not into incest but if they are non blood related I’m ok. it’s their choice if they want to become couple or want to live as siblings.

Growing up together doesn’t make it incest. That would be saying childhood friends who get married is incest or is wrong. Anyway as long as they’re not blood related they’re not jeopardizing the health of any possible future children. That is the essence of what is wrong with incest.
