As someone who has read plenty of murim-related manhwas, the characters’ behavior here, esp the Tang clan head, is absurd. There are plenty of ways to undermine ML’s clan that is befitting one of the top clans, but author chose to do it in a barba- undignified way. I know this manhwa is focused on ROFAN but it’s still ridiculous nonetheless. I was elated to see a female MC in a murim setting bec there are only a few of them– minus those that are actually good. Overall, setting aside the terrible execution of the murim setting, it’s not that bad. But I’ll continue this on a different site bec the translation around ch16 got worse.
