Last I recalled, she only knew the identity of this character from a diary and the fact that she’s the fairy who cursed ML from reading the novel.
It was cute when the baby did it but having a grown man grab and sniff your hair out of nowhere is so creepy and a very weird thing to do. Why not just ask her if she’s wearing any perfume or scented oils instead
