No one payed attention to what she was trying to say. Only the crown prince stayed and translated her words, replied to her as well, every single time. Ancia was moved by that
Then when Blake took her to the palace she reallised that even tho Ser (the godess) stole her powers and she could neither speak nor write, that didn’t mean that she couldn’t learn how to read and write from the beginning all over again
So she tried to study and Blake became her teacher
She struggled a lot but eventually she was able to learn how to write all over again like a little child that learns for the first time
Ancia (the real Ancia) and Blake had nice scenes while he was teaching her and it was very moving (yes, in the novel)
Even after she learned how to write, they ignored her all over again and tore her papers etc. Only Blake congratulated her and praised her, he wanted so hard to do that, since in the past it was Ancia that teached him those things and praised him… It’s sad to see they are rushing the story like this, there are so many great scenes that are lost like this
I highly recommend the novel though, it’s really cute
