Maybe I understood wrong but I think what ser did was a none fatal message like a human newspaper/ SOS and when Philip saw he starred killing off his kids to cover up the truth like he has done time and time again. Cuz he has proven that he will always cover his ass no matter the cost. I think by tampering/ rewriting the message the dark magic and negative energy turned it into a deadly curse

@Tayna661 Yeah I completely agree i think the Curse was initially not dangerous it was just a message to the world of Philip’s wrongdoings but Philip turned it into the Curse now as he was afraid as the truth would get out so he killed his own children.
Also keep in mind we’re not certain of Ser’s power she may of not known the extent of Philip’s wrath when marrying him and merely noticed that he had only eyes for leontel. The fact is love is blind so I wouldn’t blame ser for much of what happened if any. Not to mention we don’t know if she had the control to Curse the children or just did it in agony and desperation. It was just blind love to the end.

@Ravenjovan, I agree. Ser might be in a position where she has very limited options. She is probably suffering and was desperate. It certainly seems like Philip has lost his control. Now he’s consumed by darkness

Maybe I understand wrong but apparently Ser didn’t curse the children to die “the crown prince” should have Ser words marked all over his body but it was Philip was the one trying to erase the “curse” and the moment he changed the curse it became worse and worse that was what I thought but then again she did let Philip make the plague in the first place so maybe but it was because she didn’t have powers anymore so is difficult to say anything about Ser

Why didn’t ser curse the nobles that helped phillip or make another plague that targeted his supporters specifically? I feel like there were better options available than cursing innocent children😥

I’d probably like Ser if her curse/ message was just put on philip instead of her using innocent kids to get her freedom. She already knows it kills so its kind of heartlest she makes it transfer to another one of his descendent after death. I don’t know if she can tell time where she is but she must notice the message transferring pretty quickly which means the kids are being killed or dying.
Also if she can affect his kids why can’t she do anything to him? Clearly they have some sort of connection and that’s why she’s able to affect his bloodline but if thats the case why can she fight Phillip in some way?
