Cassius and Rosalia having this “misunderstanding” + communication problems is totally bad writing. Probably the author wanted to add some suspense or drama… BUT it’s just frustrating at this point. They are married for 7+ years. They solved this misunderstanding ages ago… *sigh* the story is not progressing at all and whatever character development the characters had , it just disappeared…

What’s happening here is called character assassination. To excuse what the author wants to do, when they struggle with how to make things happen, they often force the characters back to square one because they don’t know how to write themselves out of the situation.
That’s why we are here now with the FL and ML having a misunderstanding. Several chapters ago, the misunderstandings were fixed but to add more “drama” authors often revert everything back. They don’t realize that it goes against the very character development that they themselves has set up.
You have every right to be upset because it doesn’t make sense with the flow so far. This situation would have been better if they hadn’t resolved it before or had not known how to communicate. But don’t be angry at the characters, they are only as good as the author wants them to be.
