The author seems to be forgetting the storyline? They aren’t in Lord Alex’s / Alec’s estate, but in Lord Robert’s, and Elena is now the lady of the house!
Why is she not being greeted by the visitor first like by “Nice to meet you, Lady Roberts, condolences for your loss, and thank you for having us”?
Why does this visitor treat the female lead like a side-character in her own house, and then even tell her to go away because he has family business to discuss with her other visitor Lord Alexander – who is not in charge of this estate?
And why is our female lead letting herself being treated like this and even says things like “I’m always in Lord Alec’s care”???
Ah sorry, that would be Lady Ulde (formerly called Urd), right? It’s weird that her hubby was always called “Lord Robert” by his own wife (and the servants as well)…
That other kid made him realize what he’s missing on top of that he doesn’t realize what we have left, because once he loses the step mother, he has nobody, except to be bothered by Lucio
