Well, it’s nice that the male lead basically admitted that he has been a stalker 😀 But as a duke himself, how does he have so much time to spare that he can continue to play being a “guard” of a widowed duchess?
And isn’t it too early to apologize after the male lead saw that horrible dairy of the original Elena full of curses? Plus he was also able to confirm that the original Elena really had tried to hire assassins to have Lord Robert killed 🙁
P.S.: I hate scenes like that where the female lead doesn’t avoid getting hit even though she sees it coming and is scared of the hit… and most of the times the male lead will teleport to her side out of nowhere just in time to save her, just like it happens in this chapter…
I really don’t get why this type of event is being repeated in so many stories even though it’s super ridiculous and I’m sure nobody appreciates or likes it.
