My family was a “stay at the table until you eat” and I would have been grounded from visiting friends and lost my electronics/TV rights, and that’s just for not eating.

But You still have some real education at home. There are many millenials who were just left by themselfs, not to mention kids born near introduction of tablets and those born later on. Many parents “parenting” looks like this “give him tablet, let him play” . And later they suprised that they kids commit suicide at age of 12 or do drugs
