She is not officially her mother though yet if I remember correctly and those children were invited by the Duke so she had no right to scold them. The Duke would come up with bullshit excuse of her turning into second evil Nanny or smth. But she was passive and that irked me too

these children were so obviously coached by someone, from their clothes to their words, literally at the end of the last chapter i saw them and got “baby beauty pageant” vibes and it only got more obvious as the scene went on
yeah, it was nice for the kid to stand up for herself but shit… why weren’t you the one who stepped in and just talked to the fucking kids? offering milk? get real. you’ve already experienced with the kid youre raising that theres an ‘expectation’ for them to have ‘mature’ tastes in drinks. with these two kids who were so clearly coached, why wouldnt you even think about that?? i was p excited for this series bc she actually acted like a person with a history of work in childcare but it feels like the more chapters that pass, the more she’s gonna just become “im nice and thats my personality trait” and idk. i dont hate characters like that, i just thought she was something a bit more interesting
