For story to work smart people have to be stupid. Normaly even averge people put alarms in houses to prevent burglars, wifi motion sensing cams and soo on, but in movies ,mangas,anime and soo on people are stupid to keep story working. I recently rewatched Austin Powers trilogy, and Shon (son of dr evil)when he captured Austin wanted to kill him using some entrapment with sharks with laser, Shon said why are You feeding him ,just shot him down, i get a gun we will shot them together….and this is what normal people would do to they enemies…but this is a fictional story so characters have to do stupid things
