@DarkRoseCharm i think it’s just human nature. They tend to bully and pour out their anger and frustration on people that wouldn’t fight back. Ml being ml being in love with fl just let fl treat him horribly and blame himself for not being able to protect and fl being emotional over her mother’s death needed someone to pour her anger to and ml was perfect person who wouldn’t fight back and stuff and because of that fl just was never able to realize what was wrong as her whole mind filled with hatred. It took her loosing her memory to see how horribly she has been treating ml and their son. If she never sold her memory to the witch and stuff she still wouldn’t be able to realize or have hard to accepting the truth because of the hatred and stuff.

@k11182 looking at your comment made me laugh lol😂. You seem to not know that a person who is bad to someone can actually be good to someone else. I’m pretty sure you do know that everyone is a bad guy in someone’s story. Just because ml’s mom was abusive to the maids doesn’t mean she would be bad mother to her child. It’s pretty common to see people take out their frustrations on someone else rather than the person they are frustrated with. Ml’s mom in this case seems to just pour out everything on the maids while neglecting ml and not physically abusing ml. Also in Asia it’s very normal for a parents to beat shit out of their children or fight among themselves while they show image of nice happy family to public and stuff. And in this case, ml is raised like that and his family is like that. Trying to not show holes on their relationship so people that don’t like them won’t exploit it. The fact that you’re assuming that she would torment him badly that he would be shut in and hateful is just so stupid and unrealistic. Either you have to be very weak mentally or something have to be wrong in your brain and stuff. People don’t behave that way at all. If a person gets bullied, they would try to survive it by pretending to be friendly with them and stuff trying to satisfy them hoping they won’t pick on them or just outright try their best to avoid them and stuff. It’s just that someone being shut in and being hateful is not something that someone who gets abused do. Sure they would be hateful but they ain’t just gonna be rude to just everyone.

Yeah i know, im from europe and for us and propably most of the world is not normal to accept bullying as something normal. I think asian people kinda lack compassion, not only to each other but animals also. Like brutalizing living animals before eating them. Anyway even in those mangas which are situated in nobles times noble could only kill its slave if slavery was even allowed. Killing maid was againt law so they plot something to kill her

This is confusing…if his mother would be fu*ked up she would torment him and treat him badly so he would be shut in, he would behave hatefull towards Sheriel but even considering him teasing her he take her around mansion every time.
Second her mother was basicly colateral to make Sheriel obedient and her stepmother hated both of them.
3rd, considering how often his and her mother can meat means they on realy good terms.
4, Looking at her mother scars on arm they look more like self inflicted scars than done by someone else. Considering him apologizing for his mother kiling her this may be realy complex thing. I mean there is no information about his and her family asaid from her father. Only qestion is why did they kill her mother. They propably poison her. I asume that Kian kill his mother because of Sheriel
