Hm, the maid was persuaded a bit too easily; going against Victor so directly should have posed more of a problem I think. The female lead should be nicer to the maid and/or ensure her loyalty with gifts, money or something I believe.
And the “secret ledger” thingie was too sloppy.
Did the female lead trick Victor with a fake ledger? If he looked into it before giving it away (and why wouldn’t he to make sure it was the right thing?), he would have noticed this for sure…
So was the original Else always in posession of the real secret ledger and the fl gave it to Victor because she thought she could stop him from giving it away in sufficient time, which was super risky?
Why was the original Else still doing Victor’s bidding after being pressured by him, if she had this kind of authority and obvious trust by her “lover” Dante by watching over the secret ledger? And how was the original Else never forced by Victor to share the knowledge of the ledger?
Btw. I hope the original female lead never hugged the villain in the way it was depicted here – yikes.
