   Chapter 23 wasn’t as bad I was expecting. Ofc I’m more laid back and realize that the authors want tension in the plot even if it doesn’t make sense so I may have a different opinion than 90% of you lol. The emperor has trust issues and is paranoid to begin with, so I can somewhat understand his thought process. Whether or not he was dropped on his head when a baby is still to be seen. Think honestly tho, we are the readers. Ofc we know she’ll turn human. Did the emperor even have that as an option in his head? No. Does his conclusion make sense? Not anymore than her becoming a cat in his mind.
   Hate the author not the ml guys, they are the ones who messed up the plot

   I had been warned… I reached chapter 23 and yeah, felt my braincells wave goodbye. Dunno what the author had in mind, but holy hell, that was bad. I’d understand the initial reaction from the emperor, I’d have been highly surprised too, but to not even pause to think a little bit about the situation and give the benefit of the doubt? And no one else suspected nor enquired themselves about the possibility she was telling the truth? It was a bad plot direction and quite irrealistic and inconsistent considering the previous chapters.
   Let’s see how author redeems themselves, and I do hope FL makes them pay for what they did, not just the emperor but everyone else too, cuz this is something very hard to forgive, unless you’re a complete pushover.

   In chapters 23-26, the story took a downturn. The author suddenly becomes stupid and I think they’ll make the fl forgive them easily. Just bullshit. FL without backbone again?! Dropping if she will really forgive them easily

   Until chapter 23 I found this story quite interesting, even though the emperor did make a bad first impression by acting rudely, and maybe that should have been a warning. However when our heroine suddenly transforms into a human in chapter 23, her royal “caretaker” and the guards and everyone else react really, really horrible (and irrationally on top of that); giving our fl a trauma. I have a sliver of hope that this will go not the same way most of these manhwas go – she will forgive and forget and they will become a happy couple… but I fear this is exactly what’s going to happen. Will check it out waaay later again just to see if I’m right or not; but for now I’m dropping it. The art is nice at least, all human proportions are okay, the cat could be cuter, but it’s not an unrecognizable lump or so like in certain other manhwas 😀

   it’s an amazing story you will fall in love with. I suggest you wait for a while before starting this journey as it ends with a cliffhanger and the fact that it’s not updated at a steady rate.

   So far it’s such a cute story but it’s starting to get past just a cute story and I wish I had waited another week or two before reading it bc I can’t wait after that cliffhanger 😭😭😭 I wanna read the whole thing rn
