welp, that´s one way for author to spar us readers the presence of the decorative idiot (cause let´s face it: she´s so dumb AND trigger-happy, she´s not even useful to make MC look better or such XD).
And I´m not worried about the cousin, he´s trained too, even if he was shocked/riled up/anything else to make him react slower, I doubt it hit more than his hand/clothes (though as all who cook know: hot stuff is still hot stuff, pain and an annoying burn is crap even when small, but still “nothing much” compared to the face or larger scale when a pot is involved, not just a cup). If it DID hit him badly though, then they might need a couple new buildings after grandpa is done raging. Oh, and a grave, of course.
