and i think the female protagonist that she was talking about might be the REAL daughter of the duke, or ACTUALLY HER, just remembering part of the novel, if she transmigrated, and got her soul infused with another soul. So she might be the female protagonist that she was thinking about!
Hmm, I’m willing to bet she’s their biological daughter. I was 90% sure before, now I’m 200%sure. She has the duke’s haiz and duchess’s eyes. The Duke is the fool for not suspecting, but I guess he thinks his daughter is dead
I agree, but if he saw “proof” of her death directly, or someone he trusted (but shouldn’t) told him it were so, he’s probably had years to come to terms with his daughter’s death. Went from denial, anger, bargaining, etc.
