That’s mine too. He made it pretty clear he wants her to succeed instead of her siblings. I assume he wants their support but doesn’t want them to cross a line since marriage would mean giving up the throne.
It seems like Alicia is sad because he can’t be the princess’s best friend, or it could also mean that he wanted Noel to be just a friend to the princess.
