tbh the way the fl revealed it was kinda messed up ngl. but at the same time she more or less gave into her desperateness and greed

You’re kidding, right? The head maid was tempted because of her husband, but the ONLY reason she felt “bad” for poisoning the Crown Prince was because she was worried she would get the death penalty for harming/attempting to murder royalty. Once she realized she would face no repercussions she didn’t care about what happened to ML as long as she was benefitting. Maybe, and I mean MAYBE, the head maid could’ve had redemption if she genuinely felt remorse for her actions, but she literally thought everything was fine as long as ML didn’t die, regardless of whether he was neglected or suffering. So, no, I really don’t think she deserves a “chance.”
Ngl, I feel bad for the head maid also~ She was tempted just so that her own husband could get let off from his own burdensoy Debts.

At least I hope that the FL would have sympathy for the head maid, hoping she could change to become a good person. The MC doesn’t need to be so cruel because I would’ve done the same, giving her a chance for redemption rather than punishment.
