This manhwa is doing the novel a huge disservice. The pacing is off, characters are doing and saying things they never did in the novel and things are happening out of order which makes certain actions seem out of place. For example; ML is suspicious of her but not unreasonably so. He acknowledges that her power is similar to the demon lord’s but is confused cause her actions are not at all what a demon lord would do. He monitors her and advises her to leave the mansion cause the monsters might kill her. He abandons this thought when he sees her send off a herd of monsters by herself. HE is the first to think that her power would be helpful when fighting the monsters and resolves to see if he can trust her first. And this makes sense because he’s been guarding against the demon king his entire life.
