ofc not everyone really knows the true name of an otome protag since majority of the time the player names ’em. Only people who really know their real name are those that look it up or ask.
(I mean I didn’t know the FL’s name in Ikemen Sengoku was Mai Mizusaki till I wondered and looked it up for myself cause I mean, I got to NAME my character, but you can’t change their appearance which usually spills that this isn’t meant to truly BE an insert character, but for the sake of the ‘game’ they’re the medium/vessel the ‘Players’ use to ‘play the game’…….I blame Undertale for my current habit of overthinking 😅).
