I’m guessing Cheonma didn’t actually kill his parents. I’m guessing someone else did and Cheonma only showed up at the end, but the bad guys got away, and that’s why he only saw Cheonma with that bloody sword and his parents dead. Cheonma probably didn’t correct his misunderstanding so he could at least live on for the sake of revenge.
