Girl gets sent into an otome game she plays where she keeps getting bad endings for the FL. She becomes Mariette, the sister of Anette (the OG FL) and while in this world she wants her to have a happy ending.
The magic arc went too long in my opinion in season 1 but it’s necessary for the story as a whole. If you can get through it then everything will start to make sense. The contract marriage story isn’t the main focus so if that’s what you’re after you may want to look elsewhere. The FL spot is sort of shared between Anette (the original FL) who gets most of the screen time, and Mariette (the girl who gets isekaid). It focuses on anette at first but gradually includes Mariette and the rest of the cast. Season 2 is really busy with a lot of moving parts that are set up in season 1.
There is a good bit of romance throughout but so far there isn’t any one main pair. There’s a lot of comedy, politics, mystery, magic, and a bit of romance in the right places. This could easily be adapted into an animated show with how much story there is once you get past the “learning magic” part and finally understand the bits and pieces that were being introduces in the beginning season.

The author got some flashcards and wrote scenes they wanted on them, put them in a rough order and then wrote that, there is very little connective tissue between these scenes. Someone said there may be missing chapters but even that doesn’t explain how rushed and messy this is
