If the male lead also dislikes the temple, why does he still believe that killing monsters that threaten people (basically saving lives!) is a “crime” if anyone else than the temple does it? The female lead could just ask what kind of “life of crime” he’s talking about exactly and maybe he’ll get to this conclusion himself.
For @Eveaustria asking a few chapters back “why are they moving away from the mansion when she hasn’t found the time stone” because she’s basically fully searched it, but the Princess told her that the Duke’s household doesn’t actually HOLD the time stone – the original story was that they knew where the time stone WAS.
So searching the house is pointless – she needs to get closer to the Duke to ask him directly about the time stone.
Thanks 🙂 Well, asking the Duke… with that personality of his… might not be a good plan. She could subtly ask the people who already like her for “treasure rooms” outside of the mansion, or start to search his other “lairs” herself? 😉 Plus ask her own guild for help…
I mean: since the female lead could die any minute, her task to find that time stone should be really, REALLY urgent for her; instead this story resembles an RPG where events simply won’t happen until your character/avatar arrives at the scene, no matter if the questgiver told you that you have to hurry up like crazy or all hell will break loose 😀
Even now we see notes like “days later”, and the female lead is totally unfaced by the fact that days have passed without getting her even a step closer to her cure; even though it’s a matter of life and death for her.
