Where did the kids even get the flour? They’re renting a room at the inn so it’s not like they have access to a kitchen. And I doubt she’s giving them spending money while she’s away from home since she doesn’t want them out and about.
The story is going at lightning speed! In the novel she basically took time to gather money AND supplies before leaving the mansion (it included some food). The more hilarious part of this though is that later you find out that there is no way for them to cook the bread in the hotel room ( no stove), so logic still took a hit..
Maybe it’s just for the time being…she did not forget that they’re on the run, however she needs to earn money for their future trip to their real destination..and she don’t want to be selfish and let the kids alone in the house,she don’t want them to be bored to death that is why she send them to school…Karina may seem reckless but I know what she’s doing is only for the kids welfare
I agree. Letting them go to school sounds like a good idea but not practical. Girl, aren’t you on the run? You were just crying about them being kidnaped because clearly that inn or motel place isn’t the safest but you think letting them go out in public is ok?

I think she is giving them money to spend on food. She isn’t there during the day, so she probably gives them money for lunch
