Wouldn’t it have been smarter to take off the apron (and possibly wrap it around her hair for extra security). It’s so easy to track them, if someone asks about a maid and two kids or where the went they could find them quickly, even her choices of switching destinations and leaving in the baggage are too memorable. Should have taken the carriage farther away since they were driving it without coachman anyways they could have dumped it before getting to the next town or city and then taken a ride elsewhere? Well at least they got out of the mansion
I agree. if they were going to town to exchange carriages anyways, she should’ve just ridden it there. For someone so prepared, she didn’t even have a outfit change ready for her and the kids, smh.
