Did she doctor the video or something? He never tried to hit her when he got rejected. Sure, he was upset, but he peacefully left that day and when he did try to hit her was after she ignored multiple attempts to get her to stop insulting him. I can’t imagine being shown those 2 scenes without bias and coming out without calling the FL out for continuously provoking and insulting him. I wonder if Daddy Duke didn’t just see a red-haired money tree and decided it was better to give her whatever she wants so that she’ll join the family.
I don’t particularly like Killian’s development. He’s a child who wanted to live up to his father and family’s expectations. But most of all he didn’t want to be abandoned.And believed that if he didn’t get rid of his younger brother, he would be abandoned. Mind you, I’m not excusing his behavior, he behaved badly and deserves what happened to him.But in my opinion all this could have been avoided if he had had someone to guide him. 🤬🤬😤😤
I can’t like this work, besides having many generic moments, the way the author developed the character of ML’s older brother displeased me. I was expecting this to be a more interesting story, but I was wrong, this story has a generic ML, an equally generic FL and an equally generic one with no originality, with only the illustration/art being actually good to look at
