i mean its kinda debatable how much she knows or cares about her ‘brothers’. she’s only been possessing this body for 3 years and from the sound of it, the original rania’s brothers have been in the capital for the majority of that time. dont get me wrong, it would be nice if she cared about them too, but ultimately they’re not her family, they’re just siblings of the body she’s currently possessing that are almost strangers.
lol idk im becoming p jaded abt possession stories where the protag automatically treats the other persons family like their own instead of missing their old family? so i almost prefer it when they dont give a fuck about the new family cuz that makes more sense than suddenly accepting strangers as your brothers (then again, three years is enough time to get attached and im all for adopted/found families /shrug/ i think my issue is also that no one in the family ever notices that their precious family member has been possessed. i know its a stable of the genre but it is starting to grate on my suspension of disbelief lol or at least, its making me increasingly uncomfortable)
