I do like how, unlike a lot of webcomics that have the FL be afraid of the the ‘terrifying northern duke/killer general’, she has good reason and literal PTSD to be afraid of him after seeing how “easily” he could kill the attendant he was laughing with when she was just a child.
And then add on how that marriage made her realize how worthless she was as a person…. nicely done!
