   It has terrible execution and it’s to the point it destroyed its own potential. It skipped a lot of important details and topics that would add depth to characters. Even the OGnovel was awfully flawed. Maybe because I binged it from first to latest chap 46, thus the flaws became more apparent. So if you’re here for a good storyline that makes sense then I wouldn’t recommend this. I’m just a sucker for yandere MLs so here I am. Not to mention, in some panels ML kinda looks like my husbando in his teens, Gojo Satoru. *squeals aggressively* The SML is also decent and deserves its own manhwa as the MC.

   Maybe I was too harsh with my early comment – blame period or whatever – but my point is that I don’t enjoy reading about abuse and heavy stuff, and this has too much abuse for my own taste. Can be good within it’s genre, but for me I’m out 🫡 I like “feel good” stories, not “maybe I’ll go cut ky wrists” stories

    I don’t get the other commentor’s ssues.
    In the original story our FL read、this boy is horribly abused for years before turning into a mass murdered.
    She decides to get ahead of the plot and save him from the auction house near the start of his abuse and sponsor him to study magic and have a happy life.
    It’s not like she bought him to use him as a slave. She is literally saving lives, including his.

    Im also questioning the author mental state… This story is a mess of mental and physical abuse… imma drop this till there’s some more comments/ spoilers saying whether it’s worth it or not. I mean, I might be judging this too early (Chapter 3) but there’s too much abuse drama simply for the sake of it, doesn’t even make much sense
