SPOILER: i’m getting the vibe the reason why they can’t have a sexual relationship is to keep distance enough for the “mother” of Robelia to keep control over Robelia. Robelia is very tender hearted even if she tries to be tough. Sleeping with him would bond them. Her mother is very cautious and thoughtful, so it makes sense why she would point this out.
