For what I read in other spoilers, Seoyun is a low level guide but she was able to raise her rank by traveling between earth and the universe the FL lives now. By doing so, every time she went to Earth and back she gained levels, but she also made that an equal level monster wave attacked the universe the story is happening and Korea. Up to a point the monster waves were to such a high level that she was the cause of all the bad things happening on the first TL. All because sh was greedy.
So, the web novel is being slowly adapted on Belle Reservoir, and I can say this as a kind of spoiler.

Seoyun is just as horrible and nasty as Rashta(trashta) from The Remarried Empress and Lina from Tragedy of the Villainess. I think a few others, but names are not coming to my mind now. She is a real piece of work with her ‘greed,’ if you will.
