   I think They always have a high rank cuz apparently the ml needs to be on a strong position to assert dominance over the other leads like If they make the ml a commoner the story always turns out to be tragic. Notice how most of the times second leads are always commoners or low rank soldiers. In this way I think “Sigrid”, “blue glass” and “falling for a dying princess” was really good. Honestly I love it when both leads become friends first and then slow burn.

   Bro there are a lot of manhwa with non prince+duke ml. And here clearly said “emperor” in the title. This is way too obvious not to notice that the ml has high rank. If you don’t like it why bother reading??
