I get that the ML was an asshole for divorcing the next day they married. But try looking it from his pov, he never wanted to divorce, in fact it broke him. And plus it’s not like he hated the Estelle because her father is the reason his mother died. They were more reasons to the divorce. Just kill the father basically every single problem will disappear in your lives and I kinda feel bad for kaizen I think he feels like he is betraying his mother because he loves the girl whose father killed his mother. Also WHY ARE THER LITERALLY NO MOMS IN THIS NOVEL??!!

The will at the start was ment to be only opend infront of everyone he opend it and even forgot FL excisted

He blackmailed her under the context of treason to return to safe his own hide about opening the will beforehand sp the higher nobles etc wouldt find out he dont give a fuck about the laws

Yes he kidnapped and threatened the kids life at a point aswell (offcourse before he knew it was his son)

FL grandfather is pretty much imprisoned and his wealth taken away by him too…….reason why FL is living in poverty aswell cause gramps cant send money

Now,that explains why ml was sometimes harsh on fl back when they were young,and why he divorced her as soon as his father died.And I believe there’s more to their marriage and their divorce than we’ve seen so far.What’s more important is that he loves her regardless of the truth.It is understandable you might feel guilty if you come to love the daughter of the person who assasinated your mother,ofc it’s definitely not fl’s fault and she’s the victim all along,but I can also understand ml’s POV.STILL,it doesn’t justify why you divorced her!You could’ve talked things out.You could have communicated!How much must the fl suffered to be divorced after one night stand without knowing a clue of anything.She must have felt a laughingstock herself.Afterall,both of them are victims…
