But now is this chapter people are blaming Ellen for defending her. … it’s funny how the human being is just searching someone to blame and vent their fustration on.

Why does she keep comparing Ruby to her mother they are two different people and the only thing they apparent have in common is a ED but letting the maid get off with no punishment for insulting the duchess of the house is just unfair to Ruby. I agree. Trauma and abuse are things that are not easy to share. I don’t blame Ellen for not sharing and I don’t blame Ian for not noticing anything and I don’t think Ellen does either, she’s simply the reason explaining why Marta is so important to her and shouldn’t be killed. Let’s blame the former Duke for neglecting his children and mentally I’ll wife when there should’ve been measured to keep them safe around their crazy mother. If Marta was constantly having to save her, Ellen should’ve never been around her mother in the first place. She was not stable and that’s dangerous for a child. I’m fine with Marta not being killed, it wasn’t really justice anyways.
I know a bit about the story coming ahead and don’t worry everyone, she may not dead, but trust, she will be dealt with after this😤

The story has a lot of potential but the story telling is getting bad as it goes on. The conversations are repetitive, we’re in ch 76 and there’s still little character and plot development. Atp the author is just dragging it. I’ll come back at ch 100 maybe then there’s progress already.

– Ellen has been living her life all those years without telling Izke about what she’s been through and now she’s like blaming him for not noticing it. “I don’t have anyone other than Martha”!? Are you sure? Izke would have helped her IF she had told him. You can’t expect other people to understand you when you’re keeping your mouth shut. I mean, she even knows he’s busy. Of course he wouldn’t have noticed.
– Ellen keeps saying she wants to help Rubi but all she does is doubting Rubi.
– I understand that Martha is important to her because she’s the only one protect her and give her love, she can be a mother to Ellen, BUT she’s just a maid, she’s NOT the madam of the house. So she can do whatever she wants just because she’s important to Ellen?
