Her ankle is hurt, which limits her mobility. When winter came and there wasn’t anything to eat or warm clothes to wear, what would she do? Realistically she can’t stay with them.
Also, her husband is not a bad man. He was cold and suspicious to her (considering her reputation and family its justified). But once he realized she wasn’t anything like he thought he started changing. When he saw her scars he realized she’d been abused and that explained a lot of her odd behavior.
The he spent 3 days searching for her without rest, after 2 days of not sleeping trying to catch the real culprit behind the poisoning. All the while everyone says she dead and to give up.
You know who’s going to be the problem? Ruby, who lies because she’s perpetually scared of everyone. Until she she can be honest with him, their relationship will have problems.

I have just ignored all the slander Izek took on the comments until now, and yes, he is not bad, he just don’t know how to communicate since Ruby is terrified of him and still fakes she loves him. Do you guys think he’s stupid to fall for such lousy act? He knows she’s scared, he leaves her alone because he doesn’t know how to handle the situation.
I’m really happy Ruby will open up to him because there’s no relationship based on lies, I do understand Ruby and is really rewarding watching her heal her trauma, but everything gets better once she starts being honest with her new family.
